Treat a problem window(s) on your home and/or cottage to be bird-safe following FLAP Canada’s Window Visual Markers Guidelines. Visual Markers should be:

•   Placed on the outside of your window
•   Spaced no more than 5cm by 5cm apart
•   Covering the entire window surface
•   Highly visible on the transparent or reflective glass surface
•   No smaller than 6mm in diameter
•   Window treatments can be commercial products, or they can be home-made!

Those who have treated their windows report that their eyes get used to the treatments very quickly and they barely notice them anymore!
