TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY
You can make a reservation by contacting our sales team or by visiting our website. At that time, we will ask you to provide some basic information, such as your name, contact information, credit card number and expiration date, so that we can identify you and process your reservation. We will also collect additional information on our Reservation and Personal Information Form, which will assist us in planning your trip. Some of the information we may require is listed below:
Physical and Health Details: We need to obtain information about your age, gender, medical issues and dietary requirements to ensure your personal health and safety. In addition, we require emergency contact information.
Flight and Passport Details: We require your passport information in order to confirm your trip's services with the ground operators in each destination. If you make your own flight arrangements, we need a copy of your flight itinerary so that we know when to expect you at the destination and to ensure you have adequate time to get to the airport for your flights.
Personal Preferences: Our staff strives to provide a high level of personal service. Our sales team records any special requests or preferences that are specified at the time of booking. This information is passed on to local operators or guide as appropriate to accommodate your requests. We may also ask you about how you heard about us and what your interests are. We also keep a record of the past trips you have taken with us.
Any information you provide on our website is treated as securely as through any other business channel. We use standard encryption software that protects your information as it is sent from your browser to our systems. Please note however that no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot ensure the security of information you transmit to us over the internet.
Brochures: We use your address information and details about your personal preferences or past trips to mail you selected brochures. If at any point you wish to have your name removed from our mailing list, please contact us at email@example.com or call us toll free at 1-800-387-1483.
E-newsletters: Our e-newsletters provide you with information about upcoming trips or other information about our company. We are staunch supporters of the new Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and take your privacy very seriously. We will not share, sell or otherwise make your mailing list subscription information available to any external third parties, unless required by law. By submitting your email address, your grant us explicit consent to send you e-newsletters as detailed above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link, found at the foot of every email that we send to you.
