Tango music in Buenos Aires, breathtaking scenery at Iguazú Falls, and fine wine in Mendoza: It’s a lot to pack into 10 days, and we’re excited to present this all-new itinerary that takes you to three core regions of this big, bold, and beautiful South American nation.

Begin in Buenos Aires to explore both historic and modern neighbourhoods on foot to get a sense of everyday life in the nation’s coastal capital. On a day trip, venture to the rural outskirts of the city to the birthplace of the gaucho tradition: San Antonio de Areco. Feel the rhythmic splendour of a tango show during our final dinner here. It’s then off to Iguazú Falls in the north for two days of wandering above and below the jaw-dropping network of 275 cascades surrounded by lush lowland rainforest. From the lowlands to higher lands, we fly northwest to Salta located at the foot of the Andes Mountains. Marvel at a succession of polychrome canyons, Quechua and Aymará villages, deserts, and historic cities. The final leg of our journey takes us to Mendoza to get acquainted with the region from where 80% of Argentine wines originate. Here, enjoy gourmet meals and fine, aged wine.
