Richard Schofield

Richard Schofield is a naturalist leader who has led many of our private groups over the past few years through the main islands of Aotearoa. Originally from northern England, Richard has lived in New Zealand for the past 20 years, currently residing in Balclutha in southern Aotearoa. He has had a long association with The New Zealand Ornithological Society and is currently the Bird Census Project coordinator for the southern South Island. When not birding or leading tours, Richard is a professional photographer.
