Wendy O’Brien, Ph.D, is a philosopher, teacher and interviewer. With over thirty years of experience teaching, she’s lectured and conducted workshops at Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, The University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, Harvard, Oxford and The Art Gallery of Ontario on topics including creativity, beauty, desire, silence, hope and power. Her interests in literature and the visual arts led her to begin a long term study on the concept of wonder. Most recently her investigations have centered on wonder and the natural environment including the relationship between wonder and the notion of the wild and the search for paradise.
