Also in the North, Ninh Binh is punctuated by the Boi Rover, which flows past the Tam Coc grottos and alluring Jade Cave. Central Vietnam moves at a quieter pace, hosting a wealth of historic landmarks, including the World Heritage Site of Hue and the ancient port city of Hoi An with its bridges and lanterns. To complete the trip, linger in Angkor, visiting the landmark temples of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and the more remote temples of the jungle. These magnificent monuments have survived the collapse of the sophisticated civilization that built them, centuries of consumption by the suffocating jungle, and decades of strife to yield an enthralling finale to your journey.

At each location, enjoy the subtle flavours and outstanding cornucopia of Vietnamese cuisine from the simple, lyrical pho to local restaurants revealing a complex fusion of Asian and French-influenced food. Our most immersive experience with the culinary world is during our own market visit and cooking class in Hoi An.
