This journey takes you to the heart of Tuscany for a ramble through some of its most scenic and inspiring villages as well as stylish, historic Florence.

We stay for six nights in a comfortable hotel in the very centre of Siena, a fabulous open-air museum famed for its historic and colourful contrade (districts) filled with artisan boutiques, yummy pastry shops and coffee bars, and tempting restaurants. From this comfortable base, we set off every day to explore Cortona, Arezzo, San Gimignano, and more — all the beautiful places that make Tuscany so idyllic. We plan to take it slowly with time to stroll the cobblestoned streets, enjoy wine tastings, take a cooking class, and photograph those picture-perfect landscapes. And we get to spend two blissful days in Florence, discovering great art and terrific shopping.
