Step into the heart of the ancient eastern Mediterranean—a land where the foundations of modern art, architecture, politics, philosophy, and religion were laid. This unforgettable journey offers a front-row seat to the places where history (and prehistory) was made: from a Neolithic village where some of the world’s first farmers lived over 10,000 years ago, to the monumental cities and palaces of Bronze Age kings.

We begin in legendary Athens, where the Agora brings to life the world’s earliest democracy, and the—graceful and enduring—still embodies the pinnacle of Classical beauty. From there, we travel to Delphi, once believed to be the center of the world, where the sanctuary of Apollo and its famous oracle shaped decisions across the ancient Greek world. At Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, we’ll explore the temples, training grounds, and stadium that connected sport, religion, and politics in powerful ways.

In the Peloponnese, we’ll walk in the footsteps of ancient rulers at Mycenae, home to the legendary Agamemnon of Iliad fame. On Crete, explore the awe-inspiring palaces of the Minoans, Europe’s first great civilization, including Knossos, famously excavated by Sir Arthur Evans.

With expert insights, rich storytelling, and the warm hospitality of the Greek people, this tour promises not just a trip, but a deep and lasting connection to the ancient world. I look forward to sharing with you the wonders that have drawn me back to this remarkable region time and time again.

Kalo taxidhi, as the Greeks say (Bon voyage)!

To further explore this region’s archaeological wonders, consider our post-tour extension to Santorini.
