Discover Belgium’s cultural treasures on The Art Cities Route, a 10-day leisurely cycling tour through the heart of Flanders. This journey blends relaxed bike rides with immersive cultural experiences, perfect for travellers seeking both activity and depth. Begin in Brussels before cycling through charming cities like Mechelen, Antwerp, and Ghent, each rich in Flemish art, great architecture from different eras, and culinary delights.

Follow scenic bike paths along the Icon Art Cities route, stopping for guided city tours, museum visits, and indulgent local cuisine. Explore Van Dyck’s art in Dendermonde, the iconic Ghent Altarpiece, and the revamped Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp. In Ypres, shift focus to remembrance, visiting the In Flanders Fields Museum and attending the poignant Last Post ceremony at Menin Gate. The WWI battlefields come to life through a reflective day of cycling.

Conclude in fairytale Bruges, exploring its canals, historic squares, and wonderful museums, with time to wander or cycle at your own pace. Throughout the tour, you will enjoy premium accommodations and seamless support, ensuring comfort and flexibility. This unique experience offers the perfect blend of culture, history, and leisurely exploration across Flanders’ most inspiring cities.
