Josh McGarel

Based in Squamish, British Columbia, Josh McGarel brings a unique blend of outdoor expertise, photography skills, and expedition experience to his role as a guide. His time as a Resident Photographer aboard small expedition ships in South Georgia, Antarctica, and the East Coast of Canada involved not only capturing stunning wildlife and landscape photography but also sharing his knowledge through workshops with guests. Since moving to Canada from England in 2014, Josh has immersed himself in the diverse landscapes and cultures of the West Coast, documenting First Nations-led trail building initiatives and working with major brands like Lululemon and FujiFilm. Josh guides trips across Vancouver Island, the Chilcotin, and the Yukon for Mosaic Earth Travel and loves sharing his passion for the outdoors and neverending curiosity with our travellers.
