Faye Wightman

Faye Wightman is a UBC grad, BSN’81 (Nursing). Her life work has focused on the not-for-profit sector, as she has worked as a leader and change agent focusing on philanthropy, management, and governance. An exciting career heading up the largest community foundations and one of the top children’s hospital foundations allowed her to make an impact on thousands of lives. She has been recognized and received numerous awards, including the City of Vancouver’s Civic Medal for her community work, the Queens Jubilee medal, and a Lifetime Achievement award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. An avid traveller and alumni engagement leader, she has visited 40 countries, including India, China, Bhutan, Iran, Australia, and numerous countries in Europe and Central America.
