Peru boasts an extraordinary pantry of ingredients—from the more than 4,000 varieties of potatoes cultivated in the highlands to the freshest seafood sourced from the Humboldt Current. Over centuries, indigenous traditions have blended with Spanish, African, Chinese, and Japanese influences to create a truly dynamic food culture.

From Lima, the gastronomic capital of Latin America, our tour takes in Peru’s most fascinating sites including the Inca jewel of Cusco and the iconic site of Machu Picchu. Enjoy accommodation in three beautiful locations selected for charm, comfort, and those views!

Savour a traditional ‘pachamanca’ meals cooked in earth ovens in a Quechua Andean community. Meet farmers preserving ancient foods like Pampacorral sweet potatoes, tomatillos, and Andean kañihua. Discover indigenous crops growing within spectacular archeological sites. There will be Pisco and ceviche tasting sessions, shopping in traditional food and artisan markets, and hands-on cooking too.
