

Lorraine Stubbs
Lorraine Stubbs is a two-time Olympian, having competed for Canada in Dressage at Munich ’72 and Montreal ’76, where she reached the finals. Lorraine won double gold medals at her third and final Pan Am Games (Havana ’91) and a silver medal at her second. She also coached the three-day team event in Dressage at the Winnipeg ‘99 Pan Ams and judged Dressage at the Pan Ams in Argentina. Lorraine became the first Level 3 national coach in Canada in any equestrian sport. Her 100-acre farm in Rockwood, Ontario was chosen specifically to be near the best veterinary school in Canada: OVC at the University of Guelph! Lorraine has bred international sport horses and graded stakes-winning thoroughbreds there (a few track, course, and stake recordholders among them) while also growing prize-winning crops.
