Erick Villagomez

Erick Villagomez is an educator, researcher, and designer with academic and professional interests in human settlements. He is the founding principal of Metis Design|Build, a practice with over two decades of experience working on diverse projects ranging from small-scale architecture and urban design consulting to illustration and information design. Erick is also the Editor-in-Chief of Spacing Vancouver and a regular contributor to the award-winning Spacing Magazine. Erick has taught several design disciplines across many universities, including Emily Carr University of the Art + Design and KPU's Wilson School of Design. He is currently a Lecturer within UBC's School of Community and Regional Planning.
