David Lindo

David Lindo, also known as "The Urban Birder" is an award-winning broadcaster, writer, naturalist, photographer, public speaker, and tour leader. Through TV appearances, writing, talks, and travel, he inspires people to re-look at their urban environments and believes wildlife in urban areas is so easy to engage with; all we have to do is open our eyes, ears, hearts and minds and soon we will be linked into the nature around us.

 

David is Vice-President of the Wildlife & Wetlands Trust in the United Kingdom and was voted the 7th most influential person in Wildlife by BBC Wildlife Magazine. He is a proud ambassador of several conservation societies around the world, a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers, and a Fellow of the International League of Conservation Writers.
