Faye Wightman

Faye Wightman, BSN’81 (Nursing)'s life work has focused on the not for profit sector as a leader and change agent focusing on philanthropy, management and governance. An exciting career heading up the largest community foundations and one of the top children’s hospital foundations allowed her make an impact on thousands of lives. She has been recognized and received numerous awards including the City of Vancouver’s Civic Medal for her community work, the Queens Jubilee medal and a Lifetime Achievement award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals. An avid traveller and alumni engagement leader, she has visited 40 countries, including China, Bhutan, Iran, Europe, Central America, Australia and India.
