Good To Know

India offers a tropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild to cool winters, making fall and winter ideal visiting times. English is commonly spoken but Hindi is the official language and the use of basic Hindi phrases like Namaste and dhanyavaad are appreciated by locals.

When to Travel

Fall and winter offer ideal weather conditions with comfortable temperatures ranging from 10-25 C in North India, including Delhi and Rajasthan and milder 20-32C in South India including coastal areas like Kerala, Goa and Tamil Nadu. This is a good season for nature tours, and craft bazaars. Summer is intensely hot, followed by a heavy Monsoon.

What to Eat

India has stood at the heart of the ancient Spice Route for centuries, and its culinary heritage still tells that story in every bite. Savour biryanis perfumed with saffron and cinnamon, and soft, pillowy naan paired with smoky tandoori dishes. Relish the crunch of a southern dosa or the creativity of artisanal street food from Delhi and Mumbai. From vibrant vegan fare to farm-fresh satvik meals crafted for your bodys balance, every dish reflects Indias deep culture, flavour, and artistry.
