Private Journey Costa Rica

Nature’s Playground and Your Perfect Escape

Home > Private Journey > Costa Rica
Costa Rica is one of those rare places where the world slows down just enough for you to actually feel it — the warm Pacific breeze, the call of a distant howler monkey at sunrise, the gentle hum of rainforest life surrounding you. It is a country where nature leads the rhythm and where every day brings a moment of awe. From emerald rainforests and cloud forests suspended in mist to golden beaches and gentle surf, Costa Rica creates a perfect balance between adventure and serenity.
San José offers a lively introduction to local culture with colourful markets, friendly cafés and a welcoming Pura Vida spirit. Travel north to Arenal where volcano views and wild jungle landscapes invite you into a world of hanging bridges, hot springs and winding forest trails. Continue into Monteverde where clouds drift through ancient trees and biodiversity thrives at every turn. End your journey along the Pacific Coast, whether on the sun drenched beaches of Guanacaste or the remote wildlife rich Osa Peninsula, where nature feels close enough to touch.
Costa Rica invites you to breathe deeply, explore joyfully and embrace the magic of a place where nature is not just the scenery — it is the entire experience.

Good To Know

Costa Rica is one of Central America’s safest and most welcoming countries, known for its warm Pura Vida spirit. Waterfalls and rivers swell beautifully during the green season creating vibrant landscapes.
Many of Costa Rica’s most iconic wildlife species are easiest to spot at dawn when the jungle bursts into life. National parks make up over a quarter of the entire country, one of the highest conservation rates in the world.

Best Time To Visit

December through April is the dry season offering sunny days ideal for hiking, wildlife viewing and beaches. May through November is the green season when rainforest landscapes flourish, wildlife is abundant and afternoon rains are short refreshing and beautiful. This is also a wonderful time for fewer visitors and rich natural colour.

What To Eat

Costa Rican cuisine is fresh vibrant and deeply connected to local produce. Expect just caught seafood, ceviche, plantains, tropical fruits, rich coffee, and the beloved gallo pinto enjoyed during long peaceful mornings surrounded by nature. Meals are simple flavourful and often enjoyed outdoors, reflecting the country’s easygoing heart.
