You are invited to join Sherry and Bill Glanville on this exciting WAG-Qaumajuq trip to Chile and Argentina, two of the region’s most fascinating countries. Our South American extravaganza includes dramatic landscapes, rich history, amazing wines and superb cuisine.

We begin in dynamic and modern Santiago, Chile where colonial mansions sit beside skyscrapers and then fly south to explore the magnificent vistas and wildlife of Patagonia. The towers of Torres del Paine will leave us breathless as will the enormous glaciers and views of the condors soaring above us. Our adventures continue in Puerto Varas in Chile’s Lake District where enjoy excursions ranging from penguin viewing on Chiloe island to exploring the quaint Bavarian settlement of Frutillar.

Next, we depart on an unforgettable ‘Lake Crossing’ to Argentina by catamaran, boat, and bus, a route that showcases the spectacular scenery of snow-capped Andean peaks, vibrant green forests, volcanoes, and deep blue lakes enroute to Bariloche in Argentina.

The grand finale to our trip is Buenos Aires. Here we visit charming San Telmo’s cobbled alleys, the resplendent 19th-century Teatro Colón opera house, the palace, grave and museum of Evita, and learn about San Martin, the Liberator of Argentina. We will taste some of the best beef in the world at a gaucho Estancia in the Pampas and marvel at the sultry tango over dinner and Argentina’s fine wines.
