Scott Shafer is a recent college graduate and regular attendee of Toronto Pursuits based in the Bay Area, where he’s pursuing a career in museum studies. Trained in Greek and Roman history at Carleton College, he loves to share his passion for classical antiquity and always seeks to find common ground between past and present.

Gary Schoepfel has been a leader with Classical Pursuits from the start. He's former VP of the Great Books Foundation and is a faculty member at Harrison Middleton University faculty. A worshiper of the Bard, lover of beers, bibliophile, fair in the kitchen, and kayaking enthusiast, Gary thinks that all that myths tell us is already buried deep in our bones.
