Home > Private Journey > Botswana
A private journey through Victoria Falls and Botswana immerses you in some of Africa’s most powerful and pristine landscapes. Begin at the legendary Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi River plunges into a dramatic chasm, sending mist skyward and creating rainbows that dance above the gorge. From tranquil sunset cruises to helicopter flights over the “Smoke That Thunders,” this natural wonder is as breathtaking as it is humbling.

Botswana offers unmatched access to the world’s largest gathering of elephants in Chobe National Park, sightings of lions and giraffes, and the unique opportunity to explore the Okavango Delta by dugout canoe. From the floodplains to the sweeping vistas of the Kalahari Desert, Botswana blends exclusivity, serenity, and extraordinary wildlife encounters for a safari experience like no other.

The winter months from May to September are ideal for safaris and nature tours. Warm sunny days with average temperatures of 26°C to 28°C make this a very comfortable season. Night temperatures can dip to 10°C in this period of dry temperate weather. Summer (October–March) offers humid subtropical weather; some regions experience hot days when temperatures go up to about 34°C.

What to See

Botswana is rich in big game wildlife including Africa’s largest concentration of Elephant, hundreds of bird species, and the legendary Fish Eagle.
