UBC Assistant Professor Pasang Yangjee Sherpa is a Sharwa anthropologist from Pharak, Nepal. Her research, writing, and pedagogy focus on climate change and Indigeneity among Himalayan communities. Current projects include “Transnational Sherpas” investigating what it means to be a Sherpa today.
