The Bengal Ganga was built in Myanmar in 2004 with a design aesthetic reminiscent of the 'Clyde’ steamers used by the Viceroys of British India. Brass and teak feature prominently, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere on board. The 28 outside-facing staterooms with twin beds are approximately 15m2 with original art, fine local textiles, and self-controlled air-conditioned comfort. During the hot afternoons, take time for yourself on your own outdoor seating area facing the breezy riverbank. The vibe is pleasantly relaxed; you won’t find a TV or phone in your stateroom.

Stateroom

Although all staterooms are very comfortable and roomy, our travellers often prefer to spend time outside on the sun deck, enjoying a refreshing beverage from the well-stocked bar and observing the fascinating scenes along the Ganges River.

Sundeck

A friendly and caring shipboard team on board, as well as Worldwide Quest staff, contribute to making our exclusive charter of this vessel a very special experience. Passengers tell us they feel like guest on a private motor yacht rather than passengers on a cruise ship.

Dining room

At mealtime, we gather in the window-filled dining room to enjoy a mix of fine Indian and European cuisine.

Bengal Ganga

Complimentary yoga classes, geared towards beginners, are offered to all guests every morning. There is no better place to experience yoga than on the sacred rivers of India where it was born.
