Best of Cuba

Quest Nature Tours has been touring Cuba for over 25 years. Our essential 16-day tour has been designed to put you in touch with Cuba’s unique natural environments from the Viñales Valley to the Escambray Mountains. We’ll visit the most pristine natural sites with unparalleled opportunities to witness the great biodiversity of the largest and most unspoiled island in the Greater Antilles.

Cuba is home to some of the most unusual creatures on earth, including the Northern Hemisphere's smallest frog, the world’s smallest bird, and migrating land crabs. We’ll visit a number of UNESCO Biosphere Reserves and Heritage Sites, areas of flooded woodland and salt marshes, and mountain retreats.

There are many opportunities for walks and hikes through a variety of habitats to observe large numbers of migrating waders and shorebirds, peculiar mammals, fish and amphibians. We end with a tour of Old Havana, which is rapidly being restored to its original grandeur.
