Professor Greg Henry, University of British Columbia is a geographer whose research focusses on the impacts of rapid climate change in Canada’s North. He is the Editor of Arctic Science, a Member of the Science and Technology Management Committee for the Canadian High Arctic Research Station, and past Chair of the International Tundra Experiment (2003-2012). His research on tundra ecosystems includes studies on the changing permafrost and snow conditions affecting landscapes, plants and wildlife as well as their impacts on northern communities. On this expedition we plan to land at Greg’s long-term research site at Alexandra Fiord, Ellesmere Island (79ºN).
